Tyler Hall joined Giles Flythe Engineers, Inc. in 2014 as a Project Engineer, bringing with him over 15 years of experience in facility design, construction administration, and special inspections. Throughout his career, Tyler has provided engineering consultation and developed construction documentation for numerous projects. His expertise includes performing structural assessments on existing commercial buildings and designing structures for new commercial buildings. Additionally, he has substantial experience in assessing and designing structures for both new and existing residential buildings.

Tyler has conducted cost segregation studies for various commercial real estate properties and numerous capital reserve studies for community associations. A North Carolina native, Tyler began his career at Giles Flythe Engineers in the Raleigh office. When the company sought to open a branch in Charlotte, Tyler volunteered to lead the initiative. Since 2017, he has served as the Charlotte Regional Engineering Manager, successfully growing the office.

Tyler holds the professional designation of Reserve Specialist (RS) from the Community Associations Institute (CAI) and is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Texas, and Tennessee.

Tyler is a husband and father to three sons and three daughters.  He enjoys taking the family camping, hiking, fishing, and creating other opportunities to teach his kids life skills through building and renovation projects.  Tyler has served on the Building Committee at his church, assisting with the design and ongoing construction of their new facility.  He is always willing to lend expertise and collaborate on projects with engineers across all offices.
